I was fortunate enough to spend half a day with Martin in the beautiful city of Melbourne, with magnificent weather, learning everything from the basics of portraiture and framing to the semi-abstract use of reflections and manual settings. I had participated in 2 photography courses in Brisbane previously, however learnt significantly more with Martin, in a lot less time, and at a very affordable price! Martin took the time to understand my level of knowledge and what I wanted to achieve, before running through some of my grey areas in more detail, then hitting the streets for the majority of the time to get some hands-on practice (and learn a lot about the city, history and architecture in the process!). Martin is extremely knowledgeable, patient and encouraging and I would (and will) recommend his course to anybody. I am looking forward to taking the night time course when I return to Melbourne, and will ensure I take a couple of friends along too!
