After attending many sit down lecture photography courses which were all theory and no practical side, we were looking for a hands on course. We highly recommend Martin's course! We were instantly impressed when Martin turned up without his own camera so 100% of the attention could be on us and our shooting. He made Aperture, Shutter Speed and ISO make sense through a range of shooting opportunities around the city of Melbourne during the day workshop. The coffee breaks were great too and no question was too difficult - we like 'cheating' in his workshops! We then followed up the day course with the night photography course the following week and my goodness we've taken some amazing shots and again learned so much about how to use the manual modes and flash without making people look like ghosts. Martin was also always very aware of our safety whilst we walked the streets of Melbourne late at night. Thanks Martin, we'll definitely be back for another course!
